MBA is really valuable?
From January, I've studied business, especially accounting and finance at business school in Japan. I had a question that as a consultant, I really learn the skills to solve the problems on this VUCA world in 1/1 in 2021. I had no idea this question, but I felt probably it is not sufficiently I leran in jobs in the firm and projects because the knowledges and skills I leraned become unuseful by the time, and it is the dots of the business. In other words I think only a part of business I could understand.
So I decided to go to the business school. After guraduation, I'll get the MBA. It maybe is not bad, but I can't throw away the question that "is it really valuable?". Of cource learning knowledges and sukills is interesting, but I don't have the confidence it is useful.
Anyway now I think only my way that I can select is believing MBA is worth learning beacuse it is the basic to do business. If I can't beleive it, I face the difficult situation. I want to enjoy this time of life.
I don't come up with any ideas recently
Recently I get bad situation. I don't come up with any ideas. Sometime I face this situation. To solve this, I have to keep doing works. Always I feel that I want to run away, but job never forgive. So I must stand this situation.
The process that we talk to is different from the process that we think
I started to go to Business school. In the class about thinking, the instructer said "first of all, we should understand that the process that we talk to is different from the process that we think. We have to think what should we talk from the start to the end because we have to understand the message and get to the action when we talk to in business. Talking what we want to is not our job".
This message is so important I think because usually when we talk, we tend to start from what we want to talk. But the lisner basecally doesn't not know the detail of the story we talk, and is different from our own thinking method. Fundamentaly we should know that alomost all of what we talk about is not understood by the others.
So I study again that we should talk the story that is custamized with lister's thinking method. Certainly there are the framework to talk like CREC(Conclusion→Reason→Example→Conclusion), but the detail of story is should custamized because the lisner's thinking method or knowledge level is different. For my own, I write the important message again "Baseaclly your story is not understood, so you should think the process to talk others all time".
We can't manage the others reaction
Today I adjusted the schedule of client mtg. It's the regular meeting, but the day I planed is the start of system release prepalation. Because I thought it's difficult to have the meeting, I said the client "you'll be so busy that day, so we should stop it".
Truly I didn't want to have the meeting because I didn't decide to make the story of the meeting. I expect this proposal pass smoothly, but the PM said "Don't worry. We can manage the time. So the meeting hold normaly". I understood I failed to adjust.
I was too optimistic. I studied the we can't expect the reaction of the others. Our forecast is generally not ture. We have to communicate carefully.
"Cities Skylines" is the way to realize the dream of developing the cities.
Do you play the simulation games? "Cities Skyline" is the interesting game. I play it by PS4. In this game, as a mayor we can develop the own cities. From we were bone, do you feel that I want to develop our own cities? For the people, this game make the dream come true.
The game's rule is simple. We make the town to use the tools. Roads, Setting of district, public facilities, and so on. After developing the cities, the CPU residents come to our town. The key performance indicater of this game is population, so we have to raise it. Of course as the cities become bigger, lot's of troubles happn. Among them, the critical thing is traffic jam. It makes the cities function stop, and cause other troubles like garbage problem, goods transportation, and others. We have to think the reason and solove the causes. If we don't do that, people feel bad and go away. This is the difficult point of this game.
If you like the simulation games or interested in developing the cities, I recommend this game. We play it by PS4 or PC.
The restart
From today I restart to write this diary. This year I think it is busy to work because I join the new project that is private, and start to study of MBA. I'm looking forward to going my way.
To find clothes that looks good is difficult for me
Do you like to shopping? And are you interested in fashon? I don't like and I'm not interested in. But As a adult I have to tidy myself, so I sometime buy clothes. I think many people, especially mens, simpathize my opinion that I'm not interested what I wear, so I can't judge the clothes that looks good or bad.
If I like clothes and I am interested in fashon, I try to wear lots of clothes I want to, and raise the skill of judge that it is good or bad for me. Unfortunally I'm not interested in at all, so I don't have the skill to choose good one. Because of this situation, I'm always selected my clothes by clothing retail staff or my wife. First I tell the requests them, next they propose me some items. Finally I choose the one.
When I told that to my friend, she said "who do you think you are? You are so bossy". I couldn't understand her emotion. I depend on the people who have higer skill than me to judge. It's natural thing that leaving it to someone who is good at it, isn't it? If you disagree this opinion, I want to know the reason.
