Talk straight is good to tell the thought directly

Today I went to French restaurant with my wife and my father.It's celebration for us to marry. And talk our recently situation.

My father is owner of restaurant and CEO of a private company, so he likes to communicate directly. He always talks straight without indirect impression.

I also like same style because we can quickly tell the message I want to talk, and we know essential point of the dialogue.I talk with him about what I annoy nowadays, and he answers some questions. It's so nice time for me.

I think Japanese don't like to talk straight, but it's good way to communicate with others quickly and focus the essential point. What do you think to tell the thought directly?
