Personal time is important for me

I went to the coffee shop alone. My wife went to shopping, so I got the time to use by myself.

I read the book that is difficult and much volume. And I write the article on the web site.

It's nice time to use free time for me because I can do  what I want to do. Certainly my wife make me free, but we usually go anyplace with. It's not bad, but I feel I want to be alone sometimes, especially we go shopping. I'm not interested in shopping at all. 
So I'm happy to get the time to use freely. I think it's good idea to make the free time both of us. Do you think my opinion is good or not? I want to hear the couples opinion.
