Only one side's opinion doesn't show the others situation

I rememberd today that few years ago I was said "is it weird that mens use hand cream isn't it? It's for ladies I think". I think about this opinion and it shows other problem.

I use it from junior high school student to protect my hands. My family run the Japanese restaurant, so I work with sometime when I am vacation. I surve the dishes, and wash tableware. Because of it, my hands get easy to get rough. To protect my hands, I started to use hand cream. (In the first place, I like good scent, so I keep using 
L'Occitane's hand cream.)

There are lot of mens who is same situation. On the other hands, the people who don't experience to get hands rough, maybe don't understand how sensitive it is. I don't want to beat the opinion I was said, but only one side's opinion is not show the thought and situation that we experience, so I disagree this opinion and the opinion that doesn't suppose other people's position.

And more important thing, the opinion shows the prejudice that ordinaly hand creams are used by women, not mens. It's free to have own ideal state, but if we push it others, it just annoying. We are different, so it is natural for us to be different from what othres think. I think lots of people forget this principle.

Only small memory leads other thought today. Maybe I felt bad when I was said. I think we have to stop say opinion that is based on only one's side because the opinion we don't consider othrers position makes us discomfort. I'll be careful too.
